Environmental Sustainability Lesson
The educational experience at Newark School in Malta continues, with today's session involving our students in a workshop focused on sustainability within the field of biology. The workshop began with an explanation of the concept of sustainability and its application. The students were then engaged in a brainstorming session that activated their knowledge and expanded their English technical vocabulary related to the topic. Maltese students presented the aspects of water conservation in Malta, a country without natural freshwater reservoirs.
Other teaching methods employed during the lesson included teamwork and learning by doing.
During the English lesson, the students learned about Malta's most important cultural and artistic sites. As part of an intercultural exchange, they worked with the Maltese students to create posters about major Italian cities of art, which will be shared and displayed at the school.
